Tone Kummervold (b.1984) is a mezzo-soprano from Trondheim, Norway. She is currently doing an internship at the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet.

Tone Kummervold is a student of the operasinger Elizabeth Norberg-Schulz, one of the most renowned bel-canto singers and teachers in the world.

24 March: Opera til Folket! Arias and duets at Christiania Bar in Oslo at 16.00 with Anne Wik Larssen, soprano and Monica Tomescu-Rohde, piano.


21 October: Oslo Opera Festival opening night, Opera Galla at The Oslo Concert Hall with Carlo Allemanno, tenor, Anne-Lise Sollied, soprano, Yngve Andre Søberg, baryton and Tore Dingstad, piano.


15 October: Recital, Villa-Lobos songs at Musikklærerforeningens Hus, Oslo, with pianist Gisela Herb.


1 September: Opening night for The Magic Flute. Let's kill the dragon!


1 August: First day of rehearsal on "The Magic Flute" at The Norwegian National Opera. Tone will do the Third Lady of the 1. cast.

22 June - 1 July: Lied masterclasses i Rome with Elizabeth Norberg-Schulz, vocal, and Erling R. Eriksen, piano. Tone is interpretating "Haugtussa" by E. Grieg in an exclusive concert with Elizabeth Norberg-Schulz on the 1 July.


26, 27, 28 March: Poppea by C. Monteverdi at the University of Stavanger, Imd. Tone plays the leading part of Nerone.
